Following Jesus’ First Step
Jesus never reached people from a distance. He entered their towns, sat at their tables, and shared in their joys and sorrows. To mingle is to follow His example — to build genuine relationships, listen with compassion, and walk beside people in the everyday flow of life.
What "Mingle" Looks Like:
Enter people’s world: Like Jesus, step into the places where people live and work (John 1:14; Ministry of Healing, p. 143).
Observe and listen: Take time to understand people’s struggles, joys, and needs (James 1:19).
Build trust through consistency: Small, regular acts of kindness show authenticity.
Celebrate common humanity: Share meals, stories, and laughter to build relational bridges (Luke 5:29–32).
Break down barriers: Treat every person with dignity, regardless of background or belief.
Be genuinely present: Engage fully, without rushing to preach or fix; your presence itself can be ministry.
Practical action: Invite someone new to hang out, join a community event, or sit with someone lonely at work or school.

Who is God calling you to mingle with?
Mingle.
